    Interested in trade ?
    Terry’s 1978 Silver Vette
I have two sets of T-Tops. The clear are the best.
    The Vin number is 1Z87L85404839.
    Alabama title number is 25788421
    Title number is 36404
I bought the vette from a friend largely because he was letting it sit. He’s a close friend and honest as day is long. According to Rayburn ( my friend) the engine has been rebuilt and bored 30 over. From the power of the engine I would say that is definitely true.

New carpet, seat covers had been added before I bought the car.

I ( always do) had brakes rebuilt and engine serviced and tuned.
Tires were good so I left them.
Car had a musty smell but I’ve about conquered that with kitty litter in socks.

Had detail shop clean and wax. Detailed engine compartment but didn’t not repaint chrome valve covers ( they need painted)

I replaced all gauges and they look really good. Work well.

I put an after market sound system in with radio, cd and new speakers. With the inside being so small, it sounds great. We removed seats and carpet and applied the new heat and sound proofing liquid my Corvette buddies suggested.
This model is notorious for heat on drivers side.
    This help.

One photo should show you the one blemish ( crack) on the body. This would be a minor repair.
The drivers door hinge has be repair using a weld instead of replacing the hinge.

It is an air car but I have not had it evaluated. The air doesn’t work. The heat ac fan sometimes make a noise when you engage. Next time; nothing. The dash board is cracked and needs replaced.
Since the car sat so long the seals have obviously dried. If you don’t drive regularly the leak. I keep a pan under the car. Leaks much less when driven more.

The car runs and stops great. Lots of power. Drives straight as an arrow.
Wheels are original and look good.

    Hi Terry,

Your car is for sale on craigslist here in jacksonville. Would you be able to tell me what you sold/traded it for? Also curious if it was an l48 or l82. I really appreciate your time! Hopefully this vette will be my wife’s 40th bday present

    Jason
